Baylor's Master of Social Work (MSW) program equips students with a comprehensive education centered on social justice and the principled integration of faith with professional practice. Through both on-campus and online formats, our MSW degrees develop skilled social workers capable of evaluating and enhancing the strengths of individuals, families, and communities. Baylor's research-driven MSW curriculum is delivered by faculty with extensive field expertise, blending proven approaches with innovative advancements. The Garland School of Social Work provides an MSW with two specialization tracks (Clinical Practice and Community Practice) and collaborates with The Hankamer School of Business and Truett Theological Seminary for dual-degree options (MSW/MBA, MDiv/MSW, or MTS/MSW). Fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, our program combines rigorous academics with distinctive hands-on experiences to cultivate compassionate, ethical practitioners committed to service, justice, healing, restoration, and upholding human dignity.
