Our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in educational studies focuses on evolving trends in public education, teacher training, and academic research. Graduates gain essential expertise to design teaching approaches, conduct thorough assessments and studies, and create solutions for diverse learning communities. They help students, educators, and policymakers tackle modern educational challenges, including technology integration, course design, evaluation methods, and teaching practices, while considering demographic shifts, economic factors, and political influences on school systems. The program builds expertise in educational foundations, curriculum design, and learning technologies, while developing critical analysis skills, persuasive writing abilities, and interdisciplinary knowledge integration.
You must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
Some doctoral programs (but not all) require a master's degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
GPA
bachelor's degree – You must have earned a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
master's degree (when required) – You must have earned a minimum of a 3.2 GPA from the master's degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
