Additionally, students explore diverse fields like life and health insurance, employee benefits, and financial services.Throughout the year, you'll participate in premier industry events like the Chicagoland Risk Forum (previously REBEX), Surplus Lines Forum, Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana Convention, and RIMS Annual Conference. You'll develop expertise in risk assessment for individuals and organizations, evaluating both insurable and non-insurable risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, mastering life and health insurance principles, understanding property and casualty coverage, and learning insurance company operations management.
