Our Special Education curriculum trains future teachers to deliver customized instruction for students with diverse needs across various educational environments. You'll gain expertise in the most effective pedagogical approaches for supporting students with autism, developmental challenges, physical impairments, learning differences, and other exceptionalities. The coursework integrates technology and multimedia, covering essential areas like assistive tools, behavior intervention techniques, evaluation methods, family collaboration, and common disabilities. Your studies will culminate in a practical internship, providing valuable classroom experience.
