The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) offers a unique degree path tailored for students with specialized academic goals or circumstances. This adaptable program particularly benefits those returning to complete their education or transferring credits from other institutions, military training programs, or different degree paths.
To support your success in the Interdisciplinary Studies program, we provide two options: either craft a personalized curriculum that connects your passions with career aspirations OR select from these focused concentrations to structure your multidisciplinary degree:
Health Studies: Explore courses across nursing, anthropology, biology, kinesiology, philosophy, psychology, and sociology.
Leadership and Professional Studies: Study military science, organizational leadership, and business courses (up to 30 credits from the College of Business).
Liberal Arts and Social Sciences: Choose from liberal arts disciplines (Communications, English, History, International Studies, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Theatre, and Visual Arts) and social sciences (Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics, Military Science, Political Science, Sociology, and Social Work).
Teaching and Learning: Engage with education-focused courses in sociology, philosophy, and psychology.
