Students will cultivate proven competencies in fundamental chemical engineering subjects such as material and energy balances, thermodynamics, chemical equilibria, heat transfer, mass transfer, momentum transfer, chemical reaction engineering, continuous and batch separation processes, process dynamics, statistics, and control systems. The program progresses from basic design concepts in material and energy balances to the culminating senior-year process design and control coursework, utilizing sophisticated computer simulations and experimental control setups.
