The Bachelor of Science in Human Systems Engineering equips students with knowledge of human performance science and hands-on experience applying methods and tools to design and solve problems across diverse fields like product usability, instructional design, athletic performance, and workplace and hospital safety.
Many professions require human factors specialists to address challenges involving human performance, spanning areas such as user experience, aviation human factors, cognitive functioning, consumer behavior, transportation safety, patient care, team collaboration, health psychology, learning enhancement, social cognition, threat identification, and sports psychology.
You’re considered a first-year student if you graduated from a regionally accredited high school or earned your GED, and you never attended college or have fewer than 12 transferable college credit hours.
First-year students must have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a "B" or better where "A"=4.00) from a secondary school.
English proficiency
TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) - the minimum score is 79
TOEFL pBT (paper-based test) - minimum score is 63
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - minimum score of 6.5.
Pearson Test of English (PTE) - minimum score of 58.
Duolingo English test - minimum score of 105.
