The Bachelor of Arts in global health is an interdisciplinary program equipping students with the knowledge and frameworks to address worldwide health concerns, considering cultural, historical, biological, and environmental influences.

This program teaches students to recognize significant health challenges, formulate insightful inquiries, and develop impactful solutions valued by leading organizations. Participants engage in faculty-led global health study abroad opportunities, with numerous location and subject options available.

The School of Human Evolution and Social Change features world-renowned faculty whose research tackles urgent global health issues including health disparities, chronic illnesses, family wellness, food and water scarcity, obesity-related stigma, infectious disease outbreaks, sustainable resource use, and evolutionary approaches to medicine.

First-year students must-
Have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a B or better where A=4.00) from a secondary school. Some ASU programs may have higher admission or English proficiency requirements and may consider a minimum ACT or SAT score.
Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 911 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10-12 grade coursework.)
Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
IELTS - minimum score 6.0
TOEFL iBT - minimum score is 61.
