The Health: Science, Society, and Policy (HSSP) program offers a multidisciplinary approach to understanding wellness, illness, and healthcare.

Whether pursuing a BA, BS, or minor, you'll examine both biological aspects of health and how behavioral, socioeconomic, political, and environmental elements interact. The curriculum covers healthcare systems, public health policy creation, and application. Hands-on learning comes through mandatory internships or research projects. For aspiring healthcare professionals, HSSP provides excellent pre-med preparation.

This comprehensive health education opens doors to diverse career paths. Alumni enter fields including clinical practice, nursing, social services, genetic counseling, biomedical science, healthcare law, public health policy, advocacy, and hospital administration.
