Provided by the School of International Service, the Comparative and Regional Studies (CRS) program equips students to become specialists in regional affairs with the ability to examine worldwide challenges through cross-regional and cross-national comparisons. Departing from conventional area studies, CRS integrates comparative methodology with in-depth regional knowledge. This approach transforms CRS regional specializations into learning hubs, enabling students to extract insights from regional case studies that enhance their grasp of local dynamics and, crucially, reveal how these local factors influence globally significant results.
