Delve into history to shape tomorrow with our master's program in historical studies. Perfect for those drawn to American and contemporary European history, yet adaptable for students focusing on faculty specialties such as Jewish studies or international affairs. Participants develop original research, enhance critical thinking, and perfect their writing craft. While historians aim to reconstruct bygone eras, their discoveries are shaped by evolving inquiries that reflect our changing world. By examining societies throughout different periods and regions, historians investigate all human endeavors—from governance and culture to scientific progress, economic shifts, personal narratives, and national identities.

Our bachelor's program in history provides a comprehensive foundation, mandating exploration of ancient, medieval, and modern periods across various regions before specialization. Through varied learning formats—including lectures, seminars, and group discussions—the BA curriculum fosters active participation. History undergraduates collaborate directly with distinguished faculty specializing in diverse fields like gender history, Holocaust studies, early American settlements, migration patterns, East Asian civilizations, and more.
