The Department of History & Philosophy at Montana State provides a teacher preparation pathway for undergraduates aiming to teach history or social studies at the secondary level. Students can engage in hands-on research with faculty, exploring diverse subjects from urban wildlife to mining history, while gaining practical experience through internships at museums, historical institutions, and Yellowstone National Park.
