Our recent accreditation by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) underscores our global leadership in veterinary education and student development. This recognition, combined with our existing accreditations, enables graduates to practice veterinary medicine internationally. Please see the Vet School website for specific terms and conditions. Our innovative curriculum explores the anatomy and physiology of healthy animals, disease mechanisms, and clinical treatment approaches. Throughout the program, we emphasize professional competencies, animal welfare, and veterinary public health.
During the initial three years, students primarily study at our Clifton campus while spending one weekly day at Langford's clinical facilities. The fourth and fifth years transition fully to Langford, culminating in an intensive clinical year. Accreditation bodies include: The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), The Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC), and The South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
