Experience the advantages of studying across two distinct campuses - urban and rural. Our Clifton campus lies in Bristol's dynamic city center, housing pre-clinical facilities including the UK's exclusive School of Anatomy. Additional instruction takes place at Bristol Veterinary School on our rural Langford campus.
The Veterinary School boasts comprehensive facilities such as a dairy farm, Langford Vets' advanced small animal hospital, specialized animal clinics, an on-site abattoir, diagnostic laboratories, and a nearby equine practice.
Take advantage of our acclaimed on-campus clinical skills laboratory, state-of-the-art research facilities, and guidance from our renowned team of clinical instructors who will help you build practical expertise.
Through collaborations with various institutions, students gain diverse experience working with multiple species, including opportunities at equine hospitals, charitable organizations, and with exotic animals. The program's accreditations, including recognition by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), open doors to international career prospects.
The first three years focus on the Clifton campus with some time at Langford, while years four and five concentrate on Langford's clinical campus. The final year features intensive clinical training through placements with our partner institutions, supported by seasoned veterinary professionals, including some after-hours rotations.
