We advocate for advancing and applying eco-friendly, sustainable chemistry in product and process innovation.

Our studies focus on biomass processing and chemical extraction. We also work on creating synthetic pathways for organic and inorganic compounds and materials using renewable resources, while steering clear of endangered elements and raw materials.
A key priority involves utilizing waste biomass and carbon dioxide as sustainable starting materials. We employ cutting-edge technologies like catalysis, flow chemistry, and microwave heating to create processes that optimize energy, materials, and time efficiency.
Key research domains encompass:
environmentally friendly solvents
microwave-assisted biomass conversion
carbon dioxide utilization
creation and uses of plant-based porous carbons
production of sustainable polymer materials.
