Our MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) is a four-year graduate-entry program designed to train you as an empathetic, highly competent physician ready for any medical career path.
At Worcester, you'll primarily learn medicine through community-based experiences with patients, complemented by campus studies. You'll collaborate with primary care teams, consultants, and healthcare professionals during various projects and placements - including general practices, outreach clinics, community hospitals, and care facilities.
While you'll gain hospital experience across diverse settings like medical/surgical wards, cancer centers, psychiatric units, maternity wards, and research labs, your medical education begins with patient interactions in general practice from the very first weeks, allowing you to accompany patients throughout their healthcare experiences.
