You'll acquire essential knowledge and develop a deep awareness of your personal coaching methods and philosophy, as well as the societal and industry elements shaping the broader sports landscape. The program offers extensive hands-on experience applying coaching theories, with opportunities in diverse practical coaching settings.
In your initial year (level 4), you'll cover foundational modules shared with Coaching, Development, and Physical Education programs. This comprehensive introduction gives you the confidence to confirm your academic path as you expand your understanding of the subject matter. The course structure allows seamless transition to related degree programs after your first year if desired.
The program's forward-thinking design also offers specialization options in your final year (level 6). You can focus your studies and research on either Disability Sport or Performance Analysis modules. Opting for these specializations leads to earning either a BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching (Disability) or BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching (Performance Analysis) degree.
