Our alumni have gone on to establish their own companies, secure positions with professional football teams and national sports organizations, and even find employment in distant locations like the United States and Australia. Their journeys started with the expertise, practical knowledge, and professional networks they built during their time at Staffordshire University.
Our program holds accreditation from the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES), demonstrating our adherence to strict national benchmarks. We're among the pioneering UK institutions to achieve this recognition for our specialized Strength and Conditioning track.
Additionally, we maintain strong partnerships with professional sports teams, national sports associations, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions. Throughout the program, you'll delve into core concepts of exercise physiology, sports psychology, and biomechanics, with hands-on learning in both lab and real-world environments through our extensive organizational connections.
You'll develop versatile skills applicable across various sectors, whether in competitive sports, rehabilitation services, or community health initiatives. Your training could involve data analysis, creating customized training plans, or designing coaching strategies.
Our campus features dedicated laboratories for physiology, body composition analysis, biomechanics, and strength training. You'll gain practical experience with specialized equipment, from enhancing muscular strength using proper training techniques (including Olympic weightlifting methods) to studying movement science and the physical/mental aspects of athletic performance and recovery.
