Pursue an MA by Research in Renaissance Studies with guidance from a dedicated expert at the Centre. The University of Warwick's Centre for the Study of the Renaissance offers an interdisciplinary setting where you'll undertake a tailored research initiative, selecting from diverse specialized fields.
Since this is an independent research endeavor, your supervisory team and research approach will be determined by your selected subject matter.
Under the mentorship of faculty from the Centre's affiliated departments (Classics, English, History, History of Art, and the School of Modern Languages and Cultures), you'll produce a 40,000-word dissertation. Supervision can be arranged individually or jointly.
You'll have opportunities to audit the Taught MA's core module in Term Two, enhance language proficiency, and participate in the Centre's training programs, such as Latin for Research, Palaeography, and academic writing workshops. Flexible start dates are available. This MA by Research serves as an ideal foundation for progressing to doctoral studies.
