Our BASc in Psychology and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) combines your interest in psychology with tackling today's most urgent global challenges through interdisciplinary study.
What drives human cognition, actions, and self-perception? How do these differ among individuals and cultures? Could deeper insights into human behavior contribute to building a sustainable future for everyone? This unique program encourages you to explore these questions through both psychological and sustainability lenses.
You'll examine psychological principles - from biological foundations to social influences - with Warwick's Psychology Department. Simultaneously, you'll engage with the GSD Department to investigate critical contemporary issues like resource security, social equity, and environmental crises. The program emphasizes understanding connections between individual psychology and worldwide sustainability challenges.
The GSD component adopts a transdisciplinary methodology, encouraging you to examine problems through multiple viewpoints. You'll develop creative thinking skills while learning from internationally diverse classmates. Our approach empowers you to take charge of your educational journey.
Opportunities exist to broaden your experience through optional internships, international study programs, and additional certifications.
