This cutting-edge program merges a robust interdisciplinary base with an economic specialization for examining international development. Core components examine pressing modern challenges through an economic viewpoint—covering poverty, marginalization, deprivation, international aid, environmental concerns, commerce, and globalization—with particular emphasis on the origins of economic and social disparities and potential solutions.
