The BA(Econ) program is a multidisciplinary degree that enables students to focus on Economics while also exploring complementary social sciences like philosophy, political science, and sociology. Students can choose between rigorous Economics modules including Econometrics and Mathematical Economics, or blend Economics topics addressing inequality and environmental challenges with social science courses for a comprehensive perspective on societal matters. The Development Studies track is delivered by specialists from Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Social Anthropology, and Social Statistics, providing a robust framework for analyzing development challenges and solutions. This interdisciplinary concentration examines critical development issues including economic disparity, deprivation, food insecurity, and quality of life. Data Analytics involves examining various data forms - numerical, textual, auditory, visual, or experiential - to understand human behavior and social contexts.
