Our Philosophy and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) program enables you to channel your philosophical interests toward addressing contemporary global challenges by combining both disciplines.
Global Sustainable Development (GSD) involves interconnected issues that call for creative thinking and actionable solutions.
Through Philosophy and GSD studies, you'll explore how historical philosophers crafted innovative frameworks to tackle the dilemmas of their era.
Modern challenges like worldwide inequality, food insecurity, and environmental crises necessitate fresh perspectives. In the Philosophy Department, you'll examine core ethical principles, concepts like biopower and existentialism, while honing analytical and communication abilities.
Concurrently, GSD studies adopt a cross-disciplinary method, examining problems through multiple viewpoints. You'll need to think innovatively and welcome diverse perspectives from international classmates. We encourage you to take an engaged role in your educational journey.
Opportunities exist to broaden your experience through optional internships, international study programs, and additional certifications.
