This cutting-edge program merges a robust interdisciplinary base with an economic specialization for examining international development. Core modules examine pressing modern challenges through an economic viewpoint – covering poverty, marginalization, deprivation, international aid, environmental concerns, trade, and globalization – with particular emphasis on the roots of economic and social disparities and potential solutions to alleviate them.
