Warwick's Applied Linguistics program provides a distinctive way to study language by using linguistic theories to tackle practical challenges. Our Linguistics with Spanish degree helps you develop interdisciplinary expertise based on cutting-edge research in communication. You'll then use this knowledge to investigate, question, comprehend, and resolve real-world issues with impactful answers.
Combining linguistics with Spanish allows you to examine humanity's remarkable linguistic abilities while advancing your Spanish proficiency. As a linguistics student, you'll examine language structure, its societal roles, and how it functions in human interaction.
You'll develop written and spoken Spanish skills while gaining insights into cross-cultural communication. Your linguistic analysis abilities will enhance your language learning, and your Spanish knowledge will enrich your work as a linguist. This program prepares you for diverse careers requiring both modern language proficiency and in-depth understanding of language, culture, and communication.
