Our BEng and MEng programs in Astronautics and Space Engineering offer unparalleled access to instruction from leading space engineering researchers. Students can also undertake a Professional Training placement, providing exceptional groundwork for careers in technology.
Through hands-on projects, you'll collaborate directly with Surrey Space Centre faculty, gaining real-world experience with space mission technologies.
Both BEng and MEng options are available, with the MEng extending the BEng curriculum through a master's year for an advanced qualification. Students may have the flexibility to transfer between degree paths based on academic performance. Our employment statistics rank among the UK's strongest, with 90% of electrical and electronic engineering graduates securing jobs or further education (2023 Graduate Outcomes survey).

Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.
MEng (Hons):
AAB including Mathematics and one of: Physics, Electronics, Computing, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Design and Technology (Systems and Control), Chemistry. If you are studying further mathematics then the offer would be reduced by one grade.
Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.
BEng (Hons) with foundation year:
CCC including mathematics C and either physics or chemistry, or equivalent.
