This program is tailored to equip you with effective strategies for engaging secondary students in computer science education. You'll gain essential teaching competencies to foster student enthusiasm for learning. The course combines practical placement experience with academic sessions addressing common challenges in computer science instruction, programming concepts, and curriculum design. Upon successful completion, you'll receive a recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), qualifying you to teach nationwide.
This one-year Secondary Computer Science PGCE runs from September through June.
