The Secondary PGCE program specializes in educating students aged 11-18 and 11-16. Through Warwick's Centre for Teacher Education, you'll train to become an exceptionally skilled educator. Guided by Warwick's specialists, you'll acquire the competencies and understanding necessary to grow into an effective educational leader.
Our Secondary PGCE program covers both the 11-18 age group (University-led pathway) and 11-16 (School Direct route). This program is designed to shape you into a thoughtful, highly capable teaching professional, prepared with the tools and insights to excel in school leadership roles.
Throughout the program, you'll build a solid foundation in subject knowledge while mastering lesson planning and instructional techniques to facilitate student learning and advancement. You'll also gain expertise in assessment methods and learn to refine your teaching approaches to support every student's development.
