The MA (Hons) in Film Studies provides an in-depth exploration of worldwide cinema traditions. This program employs diverse analytical frameworks, including critical theory and historical perspectives, to investigate film as one of the most important artistic mediums of modern times.
Students will analyze the evolution of visual storytelling across different eras and societies, covering subjects from racial representation to political documentaries, spanning early motion pictures to digital platforms.
