You'll receive support from globally recognized supervisors specializing in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and operational research. They'll offer expert guidance and connect you with advanced training resources. Our program provides extensive learning opportunities, including access to specialized postgraduate courses and three national training networks: MAGIC for mathematics, NATCOR for operational research, and APTS for statistics. You'll be expected to engage in research seminars, discussions, and academic conferences. Each student receives a personal computer, shared office workspace, and funding for conference participation. Our faculty maintains strong industry connections, and our graduates are in high demand across universities, corporations, NGOs, and government agencies worldwide. Operational Research (OR) focuses on using sophisticated analytical techniques to improve decision-making processes.

Qualification Requirements
For both the PhD and the iPhD you should have a 2:1 honours undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. If you have completed a master's degree, you should have achieved a merit or above including 60%, for the dissertation. You will also need a satisfactory performance at interview.
If English is not your first language, you'll need an IELTS minimum level of 6.5 with a 6.0 in writing, reading, speaking and listening.
Your awarded certificate needs to be dated within the last 2 years.
