Empower young minds by training to teach children aged 5 to 11. Grow into a self-assured educator capable of enhancing student development and achievements. The curriculum provides comprehensive coverage of Key Stages 1 and 2 in the National Curriculum, along with additional subjects like religious education. Throughout this program, you will: understand National Curriculum requirements, contemporary policies, and child protection protocols, acquire essential skills for lesson preparation, instruction, evaluation, and classroom management, undertake research projects like classroom-based studies, potentially participate in a two-week teaching experience in Kenya (subject to COVID-19 restrictions), and examine approaches to promoting health and wellness for both students and educators.
