Our program cultivates exceptional educators who demonstrate resilience, critical thinking, and reflective teaching practices. You'll gain from our university's dedication to fostering inclusivity, embracing diversity, and supporting underprivileged communities. The carefully designed curriculum and hands-on placement training effectively equip trainees for their teaching careers (Ofsted 2023).

This school-centered program prepares candidates for the PGCE Primary course with QTS, equipping new teachers to meet the Teachers' Standards.

During the course, aspiring educators will be encouraged to exceed these standards, with our goal being to help them reach exemplary professional competence through both academic instruction and practical placement experience.

Trainees will choose between two specialization tracks: Early Years (3-7 years) covering EYFS and Key Stage 1, or Primary (5-11 years) encompassing both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Their selected age group focus will determine their assessed teaching placements.
