This is a focused integrated master's program that explores various advanced naval architecture subjects. You'll receive a comprehensive mechanical engineering education with an emphasis on maritime applications, studying areas such as design, mechanics, and hydrodynamics to prepare for diverse scientific careers. The MEng Ship Science program examines the creation, building, and evaluation of ships and marine structures for purposes including transportation, leisure, and resource extraction. You'll master fundamental naval architecture concepts before selecting one of six specialization tracks: Advanced Computational Engineering, Marine Engineering and Autonomy, Naval Architecture, International Naval Architecture, Ocean Energy and Offshore Engineering, or Yacht and High Performance Craft.
