This Foundation Year offers a comprehensive introduction to core subjects including mathematics, mechanics, programming, and electrical engineering principles. As a specialized integrated master's program, it delves into advanced naval architecture concepts. Students will pursue a mechanical engineering curriculum with particular emphasis on maritime applications, exploring areas such as design principles, mechanical systems, and fluid dynamics to prepare for diverse scientific careers. International Baccalaureate Diploma - Our typical offer for the IB is 32 points overall, including 5 points in Standard or Higher Level Mathematics (Analysis and approaches or Applications and interpretation). If you are taking all the Higher Level subjects required for entry to your chosen degree, we will not normally offer you a place on our Foundation Year.
IELTS - overall score 6.5 with other component (reading, writing, speaking, listening) should not less than 6.0.
