This is a focused integrated master's program addressing various advanced naval architecture subjects. You'll receive a comprehensive mechanical engineering education with an emphasis on maritime applications. The curriculum includes design, mechanics, and hydrodynamics studies to prepare you for diverse scientific careers. In this MEng Ship Science program, you'll examine the creation, building, and evaluation of ships and marine structures for transportation, leisure, or resource extraction. You'll master fundamental naval architecture concepts and marine vessel principles. As you progress, you can tailor your studies through one of six specializations: Advanced Computational Engineering, Marine Engineering and Autonomy, Naval Architecture, International Naval Architecture, Ocean Energy and Offshore Engineering, or Yacht and High-Performance Craft.
