Master the design of helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and their avionic systems through our specialized integrated MEng Aeronautics and Astronautics/Airvehicle Systems Design program. You'll explore numerous advanced engineering concepts, covering the design and production of high-speed aircraft and spacecraft, before focusing on their systems, performance, and optimization needs. This program is perfect for pursuing a career in air vehicle design. Aeronautics and astronautics examines the science, engineering, and manufacturing of aircraft and spacecraft, along with their operation within Earth's atmosphere and in space. You'll begin with the fundamentals of aerospace engineering before progressing to specialized modules in advanced air vehicle systems and avionics design. During Year 3 of this airvehicle systems design degree, you'll undertake an independent research project, and in Year 4, you'll collaborate on a group design initiative.
