In this Aerospace Engineering program, you'll apply all the knowledge gained from our specialists to the study and development of aircraft. The curriculum covers aerodynamics, structural design, propulsion systems, flight mechanics, mechanical engineering principles, and computer-aided design techniques. During your third year, you'll undertake an innovative aerospace research project, followed by a collaborative design initiative in your fourth year to gain essential teamwork skills. Full-time students have the opportunity for a 48-week industrial placement between their second and third years. Take advantage of cutting-edge resources in our £35 million Engineering Innovation Centre, featuring flight simulation technology, drone research facilities, and other advanced equipment. The University of Central Lancashire ranks among the UK's top 20 for Engineering according to the Complete University Guide 2020. Our Aerospace Engineering program holds second place nationally, with 85% of students reporting satisfaction with academic support in the National Student Survey 2020.
