Join our mission to develop effective approaches for enhancing seniors' quality of life. We unite researchers and graduate students to tackle critical 21st-century challenges in aging. As an interdisciplinary hub, we explore lifespan and aging topics, shaping policies and discussions from local to international scales.
We provide two academic paths: the PhD in Gerontology and the integrated PhD in Gerontology.
The standard Gerontology PhD typically requires 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time. Applicants should possess a relevant postgraduate degree with substantial research methodology training.
Our full-time integrated PhD spans approximately 4 years, beginning with 9 months of coursework followed by a 3-month bridging project before the 3-year research phase. The part-time option extends to 7 years. This pathway is particularly suitable for candidates without prior postgraduate qualifications.
