Join our mission to develop effective approaches for enhancing seniors' quality of life. We unite researchers and graduate students to tackle critical 21st century challenges in aging. As an interdisciplinary hub, we explore lifespan and aging topics, shaping policies and discussions from local to international levels.
We provide two academic paths: the PhD in Gerontology and the integrated PhD in Gerontology.
The standard Gerontology PhD typically requires 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time. Applicants should possess a relevant postgraduate degree with substantial research methodology training.
Our full-time integrated PhD spans approximately 4 years, beginning with 9 months of coursework, a 3-month bridge project, followed by 3 years of research. The part-time option extends to 7 years. This program is ideal for candidates without prior postgraduate qualifications.
