This combined BA honors program lets you examine pivotal moments and concepts that have influenced our global landscape. In History, you'll cultivate skills to formulate your own perspectives on contested historical accounts. The curriculum includes opportunities to study philosophy and history overseas during an exchange year. Instruction occurs in intimate class settings within a welcoming atmosphere. You'll gain insights from faculty members whose scholarly work directly informs the program material. Core modules establish a solid foundation in both disciplines, while electives allow you to explore personal academic passions - from metaphysical theories to Reagan-era politics or 17th-century English witchcraft studies. The program encourages interdisciplinary learning with options covering social innovation, risk analysis, digital lifestyles, and language acquisition.
