The School of Modern Languages & Cultures provides degree programs in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Students can pursue French, German, Italian, or Spanish as standalone subjects or combine them with other disciplines for joint degrees. Portuguese and Russian are exclusively offered as joint degrees, requiring study alongside another subject.
Graduates in languages pursue diverse career paths including: media, arts institutions, education/teaching, civil service fast track programs, finance, business management, public relations, and diplomatic services.
Employers highly appreciate the adaptable skills developed through language studies. A degree from the School of Modern Languages & Cultures provides students with a unique global perspective.
