Explore the fundamental disciplines crucial to computer systems, such as mathematics, control systems, embedded systems, and programming. Progress to hands-on applications that integrate these concepts, followed by specialized studies in areas like system design, security, and intelligent systems.
This three-year BEng in Computer Systems Engineering merges design, robotics, and programming, making it ideal for future engineers.

Developed through cutting-edge research and industry collaboration, this program provides an exceptional foundation for your professional journey.

You'll enhance your software and hardware engineering abilities while gaining expertise in systems design. Additionally, you'll work with industry-standard tools to explore advanced applications in infrastructure, healthcare, and aerospace.

The first year establishes a strong theoretical base, emphasizing robotic system control and offering team-based projects to design and analyze complex electro-mechanical systems.

During the second year, core subjects like programming (including C++, Python, and Java), mathematics, and data modeling culminate in a practical project—creating systems with 3D CAD tools and prototyping in our iForge Makerspace.

In your final year, you'll combine specialized topics like intelligent systems and cybersecurity with diverse electives tailored to your interests and career goals.

The program concludes with an in-depth project, working closely with an academic mentor to refine your technical skills and master various engineering methodologies.
