Our BSc (Hons) Applied Computing program provides comprehensive knowledge of IT and computing industry standards. You'll build technical expertise while learning how these skills function within organizational settings, covering areas like systems analysis, project leadership, software creation, data handling, and information system management.
The program begins with foundational technical courses including coding, computational mathematics, website construction, computer structures, and database systems, all while enhancing your collaboration and communication abilities. Later, you'll focus on specialized subjects including IT project coordination, system evaluation and planning, software engineering methodologies, networking, and database model implementation. In your final year, you'll explore IT system operations, data governance, database structure optimization, and undertake a major capstone project.
