This five-year program prepares you for a career in either industrial or academic research. You'll complete a research-oriented integrated masters alongside a year-long, paid professional placement as part of your studies.
The curriculum covers everything from anatomy and physiology to animal behavior and evolutionary biology, while also examining biodiversity, conservation efforts, and wildlife trade impacts.
Our zoology programs explore microorganisms, invertebrates, birds, fish, mammals, and humans across diverse environments including tropical, urban, terrestrial, marine, and freshwater ecosystems.
You'll examine animal evolution, species diversity, physiological systems, behavioral patterns, and responses to environmental changes. The program investigates disease transmission mechanisms, biodiversity preservation challenges, and loss factors. You'll apply this knowledge to critical global issues like wildlife trade regulation, biodiversity conservation, disease control, and sustaining ecosystems that provide essential resources like clean water, food, and recreational spaces.
