This program offers an opportunity to delve into today's most pressing global debates. You'll examine ethical dilemmas, concepts of justice, governance legitimacy, and human rights, grounding your perspectives in philosophical and political theories. The curriculum explores influential thinkers like Plato, Kant, and Hegel while applying their ideas to contemporary political challenges.
With an equal split between philosophy and politics modules, you'll study diverse topics including international relations, public policy, educational philosophy, feminist theory, Western political traditions, and thinkers ranging from ancient Greek philosophers to modern existentialists.
