Our BA in Ancient History invites you to explore the fascinating civilizations of Greece and Rome—their historical developments, social structures, remarkable achievements, and core values—while examining their lasting impact on contemporary society.
Ancient history encompasses the Greek and Roman worlds from approximately 2000 BC to 600 AD, spanning regions of Africa, Asia, and Europe. You'll examine these societies through multiple lenses, including politics, literature, culture, and religion.
Studying Ancient History equips you with versatile skills. By critically evaluating diverse sources to form well-reasoned arguments, you'll sharpen analytical thinking, enhance written and verbal communication, improve time management, and cultivate cultural awareness along with adaptability.
