Choosing English as a Minor enhances your understanding of literary works across historical periods and styles. By examining various literary forms, you'll refine your capacity to interpret texts and construct persuasive arguments both verbally and in writing. The English Minor consists of two modules annually (from six total modules per year). These offerings reflect our faculty's scholarly excellence and globally acknowledged research. Beyond required courses, you can tailor your studies with electives like '18th-Century Literary Revival' in your second year or 'Radical Wordplay: Literary Modernism' in your third year, among other options. An English Minor prepares you for diverse professions demanding sophisticated communication abilities, spanning publishing, news media, public affairs, creative industries, commercial promotion, cultural management, and government service.
