At our School of Health and Social Care, we conduct ethically rigorous research to enhance service knowledge and community wellbeing.
Your research may address society's most pressing health challenges - from supporting aging populations to providing equitable care for marginalized or isolated communities. Your work can connect with Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, Psychology, and Geography disciplines. As a postgraduate researcher, you'll participate in seminars and tutorials covering epidemiology, statistical analysis, database systems, qualitative methodologies, and quality of life measurement development.

Qualification Requirements

The entry requirements for a PhD, or MPhil include an upper second class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, or a master's degree in an appropriate subject. Equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications may be considered. All applicants are subject to interview.

If English is not your first language, you'll need English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.
TOEFL-IBT - overall score of 91 with a minimum of (20 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking, 20 in Writing)
