Recognized globally, the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research stands among the UK's top institutions for health policy studies and advanced education in primary care. Our mission is to shape forthcoming health and social care policies by sharing insights with governments, decision-makers, healthcare professionals, and scholars. As a founding member of the esteemed NIHR School for Primary Care Research—an alliance of eight premier primary care departments—we foster interdisciplinary collaboration among general practitioners, psychiatrists, sociologists, psychologists, statisticians, economists, and health services researchers. We actively encourage participation from patients, communities, and healthcare providers in research initiatives through our dedicated Patient and Public Involvement Group, PRIMER. Students benefit from supervision by internationally acclaimed specialists skilled in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research approaches.
