The Practice Portfolio PhD offers experienced professionals in healthcare, social care, education, and policy a pathway to earn a Doctorate by showcasing their field contributions. Candidates compile their professional achievements into a portfolio accompanied by an analytical narrative that highlights their original, impactful work in their practice area. While research elements may be included, they're not mandatory. For the publications-based PhD, applicants must present three to five influential works that serve as the foundation for assessment. We welcome research proposals across all health and social care domains and will provide supervisory support where possible, depending on available resources and faculty expertise.
